The creators of the FOX reality series "Murder in Small Town X" have established a memorial fund for the family of the game's winner, a New York firefighter among the missing in the World Trade Center attacks.

Angel Juarbe was a member of FDNY's Ladder 12 company, which was among the first to respond to the attacks on Sept. 11. The Bronx native, a firefighter for seven years, was lost along with hundreds of his fellow firefighters when the towers collapsed.

"Small Town X" creators/executive producers George Verschoor, Gordon Cassidy and Robert Fisher Jr. established the Angel Juarbe Fund to aid Juarbe's family. "He was a true champion, fighting fires and saving lives until the end," a statement from the producers says.

A memorial service for Juarbe is scheduled for Saturday (Oct. 27) in the Bronx.

Contributions may be sent to The Angel Juarbe Fund, c/o George Verschoor, Fox Television Studios, 10201 W. Pico Blvd., Building 721/Room 2, Los Angeles, CA 90035.
